The Portable Center for Contemporary Art is a transportable, low-budget device for art display. It is designed for short-term interventions in public spaces and can be moved and installed easily by one person. The goal of this project is to investigate, through exhibition praxis, the relation between public and museum, and to bring new knowledge about the art system, its institutions and strategies of legitimation.
